A LIFE TO BE LIVED

The year 1981 we realized the annual visit to Peasant Communities of the Front of Students, of the Association of Students Cayetano Heredia. The area chosen was the Lower Piura, villages of Serran and Las Huacas in the district of Salitral, intersecting the gullies that give rise to the Negro River. It had been 5 years of droughts and we had drugs and a plan of medical attention and preventive campaigns, within the framework of a census for the associations of landless peasants. The landscape was desolate, harsh and dry, the absence of seed and the goat herding developed by the peasants.

The following year 1982 we were not able to repeat the experience because the El Niño Phenomenon was the strongest since the records of 1925, but a few months later I was able to verify from a Lima Piura flight, the formation of an immense La Niña lagoon, the Desert of Sechura, and grazing vast quantities of cattle, as well as carob groves.

However we began the work of the Association of Students in the district of San Juan de Lurigancho, Zone of Cantogrande, from the AAHH Huascar 15, based on the Canto Grande Health Center. The issue that I touch is to point out that the Cantogrande area suffered a very rapid population process from the enormous migration that occurred from Piura, suffice it to point out the AAHH Cruz de Motupe, which deserved the attention of the Preventive Medicine Department of The Peruvian University Cayetano Herdedia.

As part of the work of the Wynthrop Community Health Fellowship awarded to me for two years by the Faculty of Medicine, a topographic survey of the gulch was organized, on whose heights there was a semicircular temple of stones and a pre-Inca canal, Inhabitants of the low zones recognized and referred venia de Canta.

In later bibliographical revisions we find that these rest belonged to the Aymara Kingdom that extended in its limits like lordship of Uringancho in the year 400 AC, and that had like limit to the lord of Collic, and that was in conflict and conflict with the Señorio de Canta . In 1982, however, the villagers talked about pastoral activities and guided footpaths that came from the lagoons of Santa Rosa de Quives and reached Huaycan where we also had the remains of these ancient and very important irrigation channels. Serve as an introduction to the stories about the Yungas and Chaupiyungas canals in the Ychma culture of the Lima or Rimac alluvial plain.

AS PART OF THE EXPERIENCE WE PARTICIPATE IN THE II CONGRESS OF THE CAMPESINA DEL PERU CONFEDERATION, IN SAN PEDRO DE CASTA, HUAROCHIRI, THAT I AGREE TO UNIFY WITH THE ASSOCIATIONS AND ORGANIZATIONS OF HUMAN SETTLEMENTS AND TRADE UNIONS, AND THE REALIZATION OF THE III CONGRESS IN LIMA.

In 1990 the Minister of Health Dr Carlos Vidal Layseca requested a systematization of Community Participation in the framework of Primary Health Care in Peru. Dr Luis Pro Delgado is in charge of this systematization as an advisor to the Directorate of the Dept. Unit North Lima.

In the systematization I based on the UTES Canta and in the book the Señorio de Canta IEP Matos Mar, focusing on the ecological floors for the maximum use of the crops. Developed since pre-Inca times and in the Andean irrigation strategy through channels in the Yunga region, these developments allowed the maximum use of agriculture. It was the bse of a strategic planning in all its dimensions for the udes lima norte, with the support of initiatives with the technical secretary unicef and the school of nurses of the navy of turkey.

The conceptual basis of the organization of health services in sings was the three-level system and three systems of primary health care in China, with lachaqui huamantanga and anta, with a base in the city of sings as receiving and linking port With the mountains and coast, and its development as provincial hospital and community health field, and base of the rural boarding school of the peruanan cayetano heredia university.

In the years 2000 in Trujillo participated in campaigns of detection of TBC in poor neighborhoods like high Trujillo, and the future with the Dr Porfirio Montalvo, Coordinator of the Cuban Brigades in Peru. In the years 2010 he participated in the organization of a Cuban Peruvian Clinic in the Olive Trees, Lima, with Dr. Remigio Flor, pediatrician and leader of Cuban specialists in Peru.

I firmly affirm my intention to consolidate a house of Peruvian friendship in Cuba, because in my memory the Cuban support to the victims of the Callejon de Huaylas Earthquake and Aluvion in 1970 is strongly recorded, as far as I know personally in the audits of the hospitals of Campaign of yungay, caraz and huaraz.lo that could complement with the program of strengthening of the health services of the Intermaericano Bank of Development in the years 2000.
